Nominations now open for Glasgow’s Best Teacher 2021

This year marks the centenary of the centrepiece of our flagship Jordanhill Park development, which is currently undergoing a huge transformation.

The iconic David Stow Building is also Glasgow’s former teaching college, and to celebrate this milestone year, we want to recognise the work of teachers across the city – many of whom have faced their most challenging year yet.

If you know a primary or secondary teacher working at a school within the Glasgow City council area who deserves the accolade of Glasgow’s Best Teacher, we’d love for you to nominate them.

The lucky overall winner will receive a personal prize pot of £1,000 plus a further £500 for their school, whilst runners up will also receive cash prizes for themselves and their schools with a prize pot of more than £3,000 in total.

HOW TO ENTER:
To put someone forward, send a video (no more than two minutes in length) or written submission (no more than 500 words) detailing why your nominee is the city’s best teacher to glasgowsbestteacher@Cala.co.uk by 5pm on Monday 7th June 2021.
