Cala Homes has embarked on a partnership with a high-end furniture brand to bring a new dimension to selected showhomes across its portfolio across the West of Scotland.

The award-winning homebuilder has linked up with Danish interiors brand, BoConcept, to furnish its new townhouse showhomes – debuting the results at its latest development, Gilchrist Gardens in Erskine.

A series of videos marking the new tie-in have been released, showcasing the two brand-new housetypes at Gilchrist Gardens – and their interiors – in all their glory.

BoConcept worked alongside renowned interior designer Eileen Kesson, of Envision, to bring the two new townhouses to life. The partnership will continue for similar showhomes at Cala’s prestigious Jordanhill Park development, as well as its eagerly anticipated, Jocelin Gardens development in Bishopbriggs, both of which have showhomes due to launch this year.

The short films of the four-bedroom Colonsay and three-bedroom Bowden at the 195-home development in Erskine, demonstrate the versatility of the stunning three-storey homes, with interiors commentary from Eileen as well as Matthew Kitson of BoConcept.

Liana Canavan, sales and marketing director for Cala Homes (West), said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to partner up with an outstanding brand like BoConcept to furnish our new townhouse showhomes in the west.

“Everything about the brand is stylish, and premium quality at its very best, which aligns perfectly with Cala and truly complements the stunning interiors created by our long-time design partners at Envision.

“Townhouses are becoming more popular, with a range of buyers looking for a more flexible approach to living in a new-build home. Eileen and BoConcept have done a fantastic job of showcasing just how stylish and versatile ‘three-storey’ living can be at Gilchrist Gardens, and we look forward to unveiling further results of our partnership at Jordanhill Park and Jocelin Gardens.”

Both the Colonsay and the Bowden at Gilchrist Gardens have been designed with families in mind, with interiors and furnishings perfectly showcasing the space and versatility on offer.

Eileen Kesson, interior designer at Envision, said: “We had strong ideas of how we wanted to showcase Cala’s concept of three-storey living, for instance, providing potential buyers with inspiration on configuring rooms for different uses.

“We were keen to maintain the usual design edge and high-quality feel that is so synonymous with Cala’s showhomes whilst bringing a really fresh new perspective and working with BoConcept has allowed us to do just that.”

Matthew Kitson, senior design consultant for BoConcept in Glasgow, added: “It’s been fantastic working with Cala and Envision, it feels like a really natural partnership. Eileen had a clear vision for the Gilchrist Gardens showhomes, so we had a strong sense of direction, but still had the opportunity to get creative and put forward ideas for stunning furnishings that work really well throughout all the spaces.

“The homes are so versatile, so we’ve been able to create various options for certain rooms to inspire homebuyers to think about using certain spaces for more alternative functions, like office spaces and second lounges. We’re very excited to continue with Jordanhill Park and Jocelin Gardens now.”
