Our Proposal

Long Marston Airfield Garden Village

Cala Homes (Midlands) Ltd has submitted an outline application for Long Marston Airfield Garden Village in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The site is allocated as a new settlement proposal for 3,500 homes within the Stratford-on-Avon District Core Strategy, which was adopted in July 2016.

Long Marston Airfield will deliver a new, vibrant and sustainable community to meet Stratford-on-Avon District’s long-term development needs.  The community will be designed to create a combination of town and country life, providing opportunities to live, work and socialise, all within 10 minutes of historic Stratford.

As well as a mix of high quality homes, it will also include schools for local families, a new vibrant and thriving neighbourhood centre with shops, a community centre and a GP surgery, all around a village square.

HAVE YOUR SAY

We held a consultation event on 29th November where we presented our plans for Long Marston Airfield Garden Village.

These plans, and this application, are separate to the first phase of 400 new homes on the site, for which outline planning has already been granted, and a reserved matters application is currently running. Learn more about that application here. Instead, this application focuses on the wider scheme, which covers the remaining 3,100 homes and key local facilities.

You will be able to view the planning application on Stratford-on-Avon District Council’s websiteIf you have any queries, then please get in touch by completing the contact form here.
